Vincenzo Cherubino

Vincenzo is an exceptional listener. The attention to detail in his work shows how he strives for perfection. Vincenzo is originally a photographer by trade and moved into hair cutting and colouring. He loves working with curly hair and provides great advice for textured locks.

Hair colouring comes to Jess as second nature. From her balayage techniques to her work with pairing amazing blonde tones for her clients. Jess’ communication skills brings her clients visions to life. With healthy hair as a top priority, Jess still finds the perfect balance for her long haired clients.

Jessica Adlys

Jessica is our medispa expert! She works with each client specifically to produce result oriented services. Including laser hair removal, skin tightening and cellulite reduction, vasculyse treatments and a variety of result oriented facials. We also can’t forget to mention Jessica provides optimal pedicure and manicure services!

Yesy Vallejo

Yesy’s vision in the latest and progressive hair styles for men and women has always been a natural possession. Mens cutting is Yesy’s specialty, from skin fades to modern beard grooming, the work behind his chair speaks volumes and his clientele will vouch for that everyday! Yesy is also a musician by trade and provides music through his band/DJ service for wedding and events.

Sarah Docherty

From the moment Sarah started her apprenticeship at Pino’s it was obvious that she possessed pure natural talent for hairstyling. From creating the most elegant styles of beach waves to ecliptic and free flowing styles, Sarah’s skills are building exponentially. Sarah’s balayage and colouring skills are beautifully refined and hold some of the best value in our salon.

Hannah Scharlach

Hannah is one of our colour tech prodigies with talent in a variety of fields. From relaxing scalp massages, to creating long beautiful hair extensions; you are sure to be left in trusted hands. Hannah has been working under Pino’s wing and has progressed through our apprenticeship program with flying colours!

Pino Cherubino

Pino has long been recognized as a leader in the salon industry in our region. With over 45 years of experience behind the chair and as a salon and spa owner, Pino always has the best interest in his clients first! With his expertise in hair cutting to hair colouring and extensions his attention to detail and creating solutions for your hair while listening to his clients needs is his upmost priority.

From his apprenticeship in his hometown in southern Italy to working in the iconic fashion city of Milan, Pino is always growing and evolving his work with the ever-changing styles in beauty.

Nunzio Meleca

Nunzio Meleca has been one of Pino’s most devoted and loyal hairstylist in our salons’ brand and success. Also starting his craft in Italy and arriving in Canada around the same time as Pino, Nunzio’s precision cutting and attention to detail makes him regarded as one of Kitcheners best! With over 30 years of experience in hair cutting, colouring and perming, Nunzio loves specializing in women’s shorter cuts and has an eye for creating beautiful personalized modern bobs to suit each person.

Bruno Cherubino

Bruno’s creative spark came alive while working with his father (Pino) as a salon assistant. While attending hair shows and seminars with Pino and Nunzio he grew further in love with the industry. Currently with over 10 years of experience, Bruno gives the upmost care and personalization into his work for his clients. Specializing in the art of balayage and custom hand painting, Bruno’s vision of creating complimentary colours for his clients is his passion. Followed by numerous education avenues in cutting, Bruno regards his philosophy under the systems of Vidal Sassoon.

Privacy Policy

PRIVACY POLICY, Pino’s Salon Inc.

TO: All customers, potential commercial contacts and other individuals involved commercially with Pino’s Salon Inc. (the “Corporation”)

As of January 1, 2004, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”) applies to the Corporation. The legislation applies whenever “personal information”, as that term is defined in PIPEDA, is used for commercial purposes. To comply with PIPEDA, we have prepared this Privacy Policy and Plan which we intend to follow.

As a customer, you now have rights relating to a) the collection, b) the use of and c) the disclosure of what is termed “personal information”.  The Corporation intends to in all respects follow the “Model Code” prepared by the Canadian Standards Association with respect to the treatment and handling of personal information.  A copy of the Model Code is available from our Privacy Officer, whose identity at the present time Pino Cherubino is who can be reached at 519-578-8898. In short, the Model Code requires the following:

  1. the Corporation must have a Privacy Officer;
  2. the purposes for collecting personal information must be communicated to you;
  3. you must first consent before any of your personal information can be collected, used or disclosed;
  4. the Corporation can only collect personal information for necessary purposes;
  5. the Corporation can only use personal information for disclosed purposes;
  6. the Corporation must ensure that the information collected is complete and accurate;
  7. the Corporation must take adequate measures to preserve the security and confidentiality of   the personal information;
  8. the Corporation must be open about all of its privacy policies under PIPEDA;
  9. if requested, the Corporation must (i) inform you that it does or does not possess the individual’s personal information, (ii) inform you that it has disclosed personal information to any third party and the identity of that third party (or parties), and (iii) allow you access to the individual’s personal information; and
  10. the Corporation must communicate clearly that you have a right to challenge the Corporation’s privacy policies.

For the purposes of this Policy, the Corporation anticipates collecting, using and/or disclosing the following types of personal information:

  1. Your Name, Home Address, Home email and Home Phone Number
  2. Your day and month of birth
  3. Your Credit Card Information
  4. In certain cases, Your Height, Weight and medical history as specified in our Client History Form (for Massage Consult), Compu-lift Client Consultation

Form or Facial Consult Form, or any of our Medical Spa Services, all that is applicable to you.

We want you to understand first and foremost that we already treat this type of information with the highest degree of confidentiality and security. We have collected, used and/or disclosed and anticipate collecting, using and/or disclosing personal information for the following potential and actual purposes:

  1. With respect to Credit Card Information, confirmation of your appointment with us.
  2. Entry of information in the Corporation’s database to track your purchases and services requested in order to provide optimum level of service to you.
  3. In-house marketing, survey, data collection and other activities, specifically excluding any sale or disclosure to any third-party marketing company;
  4. Disclosure on an as-necessary basis to the solicitors and accountants of the Corporation;
  5. Any future contemplated sale, purchase or change in ownership or structure of the Corporation to which our client list and knowledge thereof will represent a significant asset, with the understanding that any purchaser or new owner will be subject to the same strictures and need to abide by the same privacy policies as we have in place or are subject to at that time;

If any other purposes manifest, the Corporation will provide notice of these to you and will request consent at that time.

There are certain exceptions for which consent is not required.  For collecting personal information they are:

  1. it is clearly in your interest and there is not enough time to get your consent;
  2. it is required by law;
  3. the information is already publicly available (such as in a business directory or telephone directory)
  4. collecting the information with consent will taint or distort the accuracy of the collected information;
  5. it is for journalistic, artistic or literary purposes only.

For using personal information they are:

  1. it is clearly in your interest and there is not enough time to get your consent;
  2. it is required by law;
  3. the information is already publicly available;
  4. to prevent an unlawful act from taking place to which the information is relevant;
  5. in an emergency situation, where your life or health is at stake;
  6. for statistical, scholarly or research purposes, within the parameters specified by PIPEDA.

For disclosing personal information they are:

  1. to a solicitor representing the Corporation;
  2. to assist in collecting a debt owed by you to the Corporation;
  3. to an archival institution for the purpose of preserving records, within parameters specified by PIPEDA;
  4. all of the reasons stated above for using personal information.

PIPEDA will be enforced by the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.  The Model Code details how you can lodge a complaint and the various steps to take. Should the Privacy Commissioner choose to conduct an investigation, we wish to assure you that everyone associated with Pino’s Salon & Spa will cooperate to the fullest extent possible.

We will also be taking measures to safeguard personal information, including keeping separate limited-access files and records (both manual and within our IT hierarchy/file structure), ensuring that the Privacy Officer will have primary control over and discretion within the Corporation regarding any consented-to collection, use or disclosure of personal information and other measures similar to those used for the protection of our own proprietary confidential information.  Please be assured that only reception and management will have access to the bulk of personal information collected and that other staff will only be able to access your name and the services and products that appear on your client file.

Please also note that you are able to withdraw or withhold your consent at any time.  We must, however, inform you that withholding or withdrawing consent may hamper or impair our ability to effectively provide service to you as a client.  In keeping with the policies set down thus far by the Privacy Commissioner’s office, we are requesting that you actively grant your consent by completing the portion of this letter below and returning this portion to us by mail in the enclosed envelope or by fax transmission.

The potential candidate must provide warm and friendly service to clients, while being concise and efficient with salon and spa software. Highly developed multi-tasking skills are an absolute must. Receptionists are responsible for the first impression of each client who walks through the door; client care must be our first priority.

Responsibilities include:

  • Attending to clients (whether it be hanging up a coat or serving a beverage)
  • Providing precise appointment information to both clients and staff
  • Maintaining systems for checking in clients and processing client sales
  • Accurately handling money


Candidates must have customer service experience, and post-secondary education or equivalent. Administration experience is an asset. A friendly demeanour, and team oriented personality required.

Providing Goods and Services to People with Disabilities

Pino’s Salon is committed to excellence in serving all customers including people with disabilities.

Assistive Devices

We will ensure that our staff are trained and familiar with various assistive devices that they may have or that we provide on site that may be used by customers with disabilities while accessing our good or services.


We will communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability.

Service Animals

We welcome people with disabilities and their service animals. Service animals are allowed on the parts of our premises that are open to the public.

Support Persons

A person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person will be allowed to have that person accompany them on our premises.

Notice of Temporary Disruption

In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption to services or facilities for customers with disabilities, Pino’s Salon will notify customers promptly. This clearly posted notice will include information about the reason for the disruption, its anticipated length of time, and a description of alternative facilities or services, if available.

The notice will be placed at the front desk.

Training for Staff

Pino’s Salon will provide accessible customer service training to employees, volunteers and others who deal with the public or other third parties on their behalf. Training will also be provided to people involved in the development of policies, plans, practices and procedures related to the provision of goods and services.

Individual in the following positions will be trained:

  • Client Care Associates (Reception)
  • Hair Stylist Assistant/Colour Technicians
  • Hair Stylists
  • Management/Administrative Assistants

Training will be provided to the staff within 30 days of hiring.

Training will include:

  • An overview of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 20023 and the requirements of the customer service standard
  • Pino’s Salon Accessible Customer Service Plan
  • How to interact and communicate with people with various types of disabilities
  • How to interact with people with disabilities who use an assistive device or require the assistance of a service animal or a support person
  • How to use the equipment or devices available on site or otherwise that may help with providing goods or services to people with disabilities.
  • These include:
    • What to do if a person with a difficulty is having difficulty in accessing Pino’s Salon’s goods and services


Staff will also be trained when changes are made to your accessible customer service plan.

Customers who wish to provide feedback on the way Pino’s Salon provides goods and services to people with disabilities can email us at All feedback will be directed to Management. Customers can expect to hear back in 7 business days. Complaints will be addressed according to our organization’s regular complaint management procedures.
